Outlook strengthens after volume gains
Management now expects full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA of at least 6.0 billion US dollars and continues to forecast about 5.0 billion US dollars in net growth capital spending. The company also expects approximately 250 million US dollars of net maintenance capital expenditure for the year.
Operations produced record Permian inlet volumes as well as record NGL transportation and fractionation volumes during the quarter. Targa said lower marketing and LPG export margins offset part of the benefit from higher volumes in its Gathering and Processing and Logistics and Transportation segments.
The company is moving ahead with additional processing plants in the Permian Basin and a new 150-thousand-barrel-per-day NGL fractionation train in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Train 14 is expected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2029.
Dividend plans point to capital confidence
Targa declared a quarterly dividend of 1.25 US dollars per common share for the third quarter, payable on November 17 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 30. Management intends to recommend an annual dividend of 6.00 US dollars per share for 2027, which would represent a 20 percent increase from the 2026 level if approved by the board.
Targa Resources is a North American midstream infrastructure company focused on gathering, processing, transporting and fractionating natural gas and natural gas liquids.
