Shares of 1-800-FLOWERS experienced a sharp decline, dropping more than 5% to trade at just $4.31. This significant sell-off reflects deepening investor concerns about the company’s financial health and strategic direction, despite the recent appointment of a new chief marketing officer.
The company’s third-quarter 2025 financial results revealed substantial challenges, with a net loss totaling $178.2 million. A significant portion of this loss, $138.2 million, was attributed to impairment charges. Revenue performance proved equally troubling, falling 12.6% to $331.5 million.
