Antimony Resources: External Stamp of Approval Adds New Weight to Bald Hill's Gold Discovery
Published on 07/06/2026 at 12:13 | Redaktion boerse-global.deThe rally in Antimony Resources shares this week rests on more than just the explorer's own claims. Globex Mining Enterprises, the company from which Antimony Resources has optioned the Bald Hill property in New Brunswick, has independently verified the gold grades that originally sparked the market's enthusiasm. The confirmation, delivered by Globex's own qualified person David Christie under NI 43-101 standards, analyzed roughly 190 drill intervals across more than 45 holes in the Main Zone. The verdict: gold mineralization follows the same antimony trends already mapped, with a clear correlation between high antimony and high gold values — a pattern Antimony Resources had previously flagged using machine learning on its historical database.
That external validation arrived as Antimony Resources shares were already climbing. The stock added nearly six percent on Monday to hit €0.45, extending its seven-day gain past 22 percent. The rally comes despite a potential overhang that had concerned observers: a lock-up agreement covering 21 million shares from a December 2025 private placement expired at the end of June. Rather than triggering a sell-off, the market has absorbed the additional supply with apparent ease, a sign that investor conviction in the Bald Hill story is building.
The gold discovery at the core of that conviction yields average grades of 1.14 grams per tonne over a measured length of 2.56 metres, with peak values approaching two grams. Antimony Resources initially positioned Bald Hill purely as an antimony play, but the gold component — uncovered through a machine-learning analysis of previous drill data — is reshaping the project's economics. The company's cash position of C$8.2 million, against near-zero debt and an equity ratio of roughly 96 percent, fully funds the ongoing 10,000-metre drilling programme. That financial stability is a rarity among junior explorers and removes the immediate dilution risk that often accompanies resource definition.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
Work has also moved beyond the Main Zone. Drilling in the Central Zone has encountered antimony-bearing stibnite in breccias over widths of up to 37 metres, similar to the Main Zone's geology. The first batches of samples are currently at Actlabs for assay, with results expected in three to four weeks. For the rest of 2026, Antimony Resources plans to extend exploration across the Bald Hill land package, which totals more than 3,700 hectares.
The next major catalyst, however, is the maiden independent resource estimate from SRK Consultants, due in the current third quarter. The project target sits at 2.7 million tonnes at an antimony grade of three to four percent. Should those volumes materialise, the associated gold — which effectively lowers future production costs per ounce — could make Bald Hill a far more compelling development proposition. Market chatter already points to a potential data update as early as 23 July 2026.
Despite the recent momentum, the stock remains well below its peaks. The current price of €0.45 is roughly 57 percent below the 52-week high of €1.05 set in March 2026, and still trails its 50-day moving average of €0.49 by about eight percent. The 14-day relative strength index sits at a neutral 50.1, while the annualised 30-day volatility of over 102 percent underscores the speculative nature of the name. Even so, Antimony Resources has added 31.74 percent year to date and a remarkable 360.39 percent over the past twelve months.
The Globex validation carries particular weight because Bald Hill is optioned, not owned. The options seller has a direct financial interest in confirming the underlying data before any potential exercise of the option. For outside investors, that independent check provides a rare layer of scrutiny on a junior explorer's claims. Until the formal resource estimate arrives, the pending Central Zone assays will be the next concrete test of whether the antimony-gold system extends beyond the Main Zone — and whether the machine-learning algorithm that flagged the gold correlation has uncovered a truly district-scale opportunity.
