Aventis Energy Sets Date for Key Exploration Drilling
15.01.2026 - 12:16:05Aventis Energy is advancing its Corvo uranium project in Canada’s Athabasca Basin at a steady pace. The company has moved from data analysis to active exploration, with a firm date now set for its first drilling campaign in over 40 years.
The company has confirmed it will mobilize drilling teams in early February 2026. The planned program consists of 8 to 10 drill holes, totaling between 2,500 and 3,000 meters in length. Exploration will focus on shallow targets at depths of less than 200 to 300 meters, where uranium mineralization within the bedrock is hypothesized. This fully financed initiative represents the first physical test of these target areas in more than four decades, shifting the project from pure data evaluation to tangible exploration.
Geophysical Survey Lays the Groundwork
Preceding this decisive step, Aventis Energy completed an extensive high-resolution gravity survey across the Corvo project area. The work covered 29 kilometers of electromagnetic conductivity structures and involved more than 5,000 individual measurement points. The objective was to pinpoint density anomalies indicative of hydrothermal alteration systems, which are commonly associated with uranium mineralization.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Aventis Energy?
The data collected from this geophysical work is now being used to define precise drill targets, thereby reducing the technical risk associated with the upcoming exploration phase. For investors, the conclusion of this survey period means the focus now turns to the material results from the drill bit.
Market Valuation and Upcoming Catalysts
On the Tradegate exchange, Aventis Energy shares are currently trading at approximately 0.17 euros. The establishment of a concrete timeline for the drilling operations provides planning certainty and diminishes uncertainties regarding the company's near-term activities. Market observers note that the mobilization of crews in February and the subsequent retrieval of core samples are likely to serve as the next significant catalysts for the stock's valuation.
