German reinsurance giant Hannover Re opened the trading week with significant momentum, as its stock demonstrated a strong upward trend. This positive movement follows a minor dip on Friday and is primarily driven by the company’s unexpectedly robust upward revision of its full-year 2025 guidance.
The company has raised its 2025 net profit forecast to approximately €2.6 billion, marking a substantial increase from its previous projection of €2.4 billion. This optimistic adjustment comes on the heels of what management described as “very good” group earnings for the first nine months of the year, which climbed 7.7% to reach €1.96 billion.
