Inclusive Job Fair in Fürth Spotlights Growing Efforts for Workplace Accessibility Across Germany

A dedicated job fair for people with disabilities is set to take place on July 10 at the Sportpark Ronhof in Fürth, drawing more than 30 employers who will present opportunities in a barrier-reduced environment. The event, called “InkluJob Mittelfranken,” will feature sign-language interpreters and technical aids to ensure full participation. The Stiftung Kleeblatt foundation is supporting the initiative with a grant of 5,000 euros.

Advice for students taking on holiday jobs has been issued by the DGB youth branch in Cologne-Bonn. They stress the importance of written employment contracts and compliance with statutory break times. For workers aged 18 and over, the minimum wage of 13.90 euros per hour applies. For minors, collective bargaining agreements take precedence.
