Kuya Silver has delivered its strongest operational quarter to date at the Bethania project in Peru, with production surging to new highs and the company laying groundwork for a major capacity expansion before year-end.

The Toronto-based miner processed 5,097 tonnes of mineralized material in the three months ending June 30, a 66% increase from the first quarter. Silver throughput reached 23,912 ounces, while including by-products brought the total to 30,559 silver-equivalent ounces. June was the standout month, with a record 13,273 ounces produced — a jump management attributed to improving ore grades as the quarter progressed.

The company also capitalized on favorable pricing, averaging $72 per ounce on sales during the period. That revenue stream, combined with a healthy balance sheet — Kuya holds roughly $27 million in cash — is funding an aggressive push toward commercial-scale operations.

Underground development and processing upgrades

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Kuya Silver Corporation?

The operational ramp-up is being matched by infrastructure investment. Miners advanced 437 meters of new underground tunnels in the second quarter, while recovery rates improved to approximately 82%. The company has approved the installation of a new hoisting system, scheduled to come online in October, which is central to the goal of reaching 350 tonnes per day of processing capacity by the end of 2026.

Kuya also remains on track to complete the acquisition of the Camila processing plant, a move that would strengthen vertical integration at the project.

Exploration expands beyond current footprint

With the first phase of exploration completed in July, the company has already launched a substantially larger second phase aimed at assessing the broader district's potential beyond the existing mine area. The expanded program signals confidence in the resource base as Kuya transitions from development toward full-scale production.

Earthquake impact minimal

On July 19, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck the Junin region where Bethania is located. Kuya confirmed that mine infrastructure and operations sustained no measurable damage. The company is supporting local relief efforts, including aid for employees whose families were affected in districts such as Chupuro and Chongos Bajo, along with contributions to regional rebuilding.

Kuya Silver Corporation at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.

Market response

Shares rose 9.68% to €0.4985 following the production release, lifting the stock above its 50-day moving average. Despite the recent recovery, the equity remains roughly 17.7% lower year-to-date. Management is scheduled to discuss strategy further at an investor conference on July 22-23, 2026.

All eyes now turn to October, when the new hoisting system must demonstrate whether it can deliver the step-change in throughput the company is counting on.
