LiberNovo Targets Oversized Office Workers with Maxis Chair Line, Launching with Discounts Up to 48%

For employees who tower over standard desks or tip the scales above the typical 120?kilogram limit, finding an ergonomic office chair that doesn’t wobble or dig into thighs has long been a frustrating hunt. LiberNovo, a German ergonomics manufacturer, is now taking direct aim at that gap with its new Maxis product line, designed specifically for users between 178 and 200 centimetres tall and certified to hold up to 181 kilograms.
The chairs meet the American BIFMA stability standards, a common benchmark for commercial seating. Beyond weight capacity, the dimensions have been reworked: the seat depth measures 52 centimetres, the backrest provides 43 centimetres of shoulder width and 52 centimetres at the waist, and the headrest can be adjusted vertically by 14 centimetres and horizontally by 12 centimetres.
A multi?step recline system sits at the heart of the design. It comes with either five or six lockable positions, depending on the configuration, allowing the user to lean back between 105 and 160 degrees. An integrated spring mechanism is intended to prevent the chair from tipping when the user shifts backwards.

LiberNovo is offering the Maxis in three trim levels:
- Manual – the base model with mechanical adjustments;
- Electric – adds a power?adjustable lumbar support;
- Airflow – the top variant, fitted with a seat ventilation system for long sitting sessions.
Alongside the Maxis launch, the company has also introduced the Omni SE and Omni Pro models. The Omni Pro incorporates active seat cooling and a back massage function. Earlier Omni chairs had won the Red Dot Award 2026 and the iF Design Award 2026.
To drive early adoption, LiberNovo is running a discount campaign from 16 June to 31 July 2026. Buyers can save up to 48 percent off the recommended retail price. The adjusted prices are:
