The WisdomTree Physical Silver EUR exchange-traded commodity (ETC) has staged a notable recovery, interrupting its recent short-term downtrend. While near-term investors may still be feeling the effects of recent volatility, the longer-term performance chart tells a significantly more positive story.
The past month tested investor resolve, with the ETC losing approximately 19% of its value on a monthly view. However, a solid single-day gain of 2.13% on Friday lifted the price to €55.10, marking a welcome respite. The contrast with the twelve-month performance is striking: over this longer horizon, the product still records a substantial value increase of nearly 89%.

The price movement of this €2.5 billion investment product is directly tied to the physical silver market. The ETC tracks the spot price and is fully backed by allocated silver bars, which are stored with HSBC Bank.
