Uranium Energy Corp heads into its annual general meeting on Thursday with a chasm between operational momentum and market sentiment. The stock closed at €8.12 on Friday, down nearly 12% in a week and more than 53% below its January high of €17.34. That leaves the 14-day relative strength index at 34.6, flirting with oversold territory, even as the company fires up two major production hubs and builds out a vertically integrated U.S. nuclear fuel platform.

The AGM, set for Vancouver, will see shareholders elect six directors, ratify PricewaterhouseCoopers as auditor for the fiscal year ending July 2026, and cast an advisory vote on executive compensation. On paper, the timing should be auspicious: Uranium Energy has just brought its Burke Hollow project in South Texas online in what it calls the largest new in-situ recovery (ISR) facility to start up in the United States in over a decade. In the most recent quarter the site already produced 32,195 pounds of uranium concentrate at a total cost of $54.61 per pound. Rising costs, however, reflect delayed regulatory approvals for new header houses and higher state taxes. Management expects first meaningful production contributions from Burke Hollow in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026.

Parallel work is accelerating at Christensen Ranch in Wyoming, where three new header houses in Wellfield 11 are already operating and five more are under construction. The company is aiming for a scalable multi-asset production base. On the downstream side, Uranium Energy has launched the United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp. and is working with Fluor Corporation on site selection, permitting, and plant design for a conversion facility — a key step in its strategy to own the full domestic fuel chain. Last year’s acquisition of Rio Tinto’s Sweetwater complex also lifted licensed annual capacity to 12.1 million pounds of U?O?.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Uranium Energy?

All this expansion is backed by a fortress balance sheet: $818 million in cash and zero debt. The company remains intentionally unhedged on uranium sales, betting that spot prices, which have stayed relatively stable, will rise over time. Yet the stock’s slide suggests the market is focused on the gap between today’s valuation and the payoff from those bets.

Across analyst desks, confidence holds. H.C. Wainwright rates the stock a Buy with a $26.75 target, Goldman Sachs a Buy at $16.00, Roth Capital a $17.00 target, and Craig Hutchison a Buy at $21.00 — all well above the current €8.12 level. Those targets imply the production ramp and vertical integration are seen as undervalued, even if near-term technicals remain weak. The 50-day moving average at €10.39 and the 200-day at €11.75 both sit far above the share price, underlining a stubborn downtrend that operational news has so far failed to break.

The AGM on Thursday may offer a clearing event. Investors will be listening for updated production guidance, a clearer timeline for the conversion plant, and comments on capital allocation. A close above the 50-day moving average would be the first credible sign that the sell-off is exhausted. Until then, the narrative remains one of a company building a future that the market isn’t ready to price in — at least not yet.
