2G Energy Insider Buying Meets a Split Price-Target Picture Ahead of November 23 Update
Published on 10/28/2026 at 14:01 | Editorial boerse-global.deTwo insider transactions, a pair of buy ratings with price targets nearly EUR 21 apart, and a looming quarterly release have put 2G Energy in focus this month. The combined heat and power specialist will publish revenue and EBIT for the third quarter of 2026 on November 23, alongside a review of business performance — the same day its management begins a three-day appearance at the Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum in Frankfurt am Main, running through November 25.
Board-Level Buying at Two Price Points
Friedrich Pehle, a member of the management board, acquired shares on October 13 through a joint account held with Daniela Lohmann-Pehle. The mandatory disclosure, published two days later, valued the trade at EUR 5,600.00 at an execution price of EUR 56.00 per share on XETRA.
A second buyer emerged through the supervisory board. SHH Spring Hunter Holdings GmbH, a vehicle connected to supervisory board member Dr. Lukas Lenz, reported purchases executed on October 16. Two disclosures, both dated October 19, detail the transactions: one covering 500 shares at EUR 47.02 apiece for an aggregate of EUR 23,510.00, and another showing a total volume of EUR 48,400.00 at EUR 48.40 per share. A third disclosure from the same company, also published October 19, put an aggregate volume of EUR 51,365.00 on trades executed at EUR 48.92 per share on XETRA.

Pareto Upgrades, First Berlin Reaffirms
Analyst sentiment has moved in two directions at once. Pareto Securities raised its recommendation to "Buy" roughly a week ago, according to media reports, setting a price target of EUR 62.00. The brokerage pointed to improved growth prospects and demand for decentralized energy supply for data centers — a breakthrough in the data-center business that 2G Energy itself cited when confirming the upgrade, along with strengthened earnings expectations.
First Berlin Equity Research took a different route on Monday, confirming an existing buy recommendation rather than changing its stance. Its price target stands at EUR 83.00, with the firm pointing to intact growth drivers and order capacity stretching to mid-2028. Those growth drivers and order-book figures represent the research house's own assessment.
The stock rose 7.1% on Tuesday, though no link between the move and the analyst notes has been established.
What November 23 Will Reveal
The quarterly report will cover two core measures of business development — revenue and operating profit — giving investors the first hard numbers since the data-center narrative took hold. With the equity forum kicking off the same day, management will have an immediate platform to address the gap between the two price targets, one anchored in near-term data-center momentum and the other in an order book that extends well beyond next year.
