ams-OSRAM Stretches Two Tender Windows to December 3 While Q3 Numbers Land November 13
Published on 11/08/2026 at 15:51 | Editorial boerse-global.deams-OSRAM has pushed back the acceptance deadline on both of its outstanding cash tender offers, moving the cutoff from November 16 to December 3, 2026. Settlement on both is expected December 8, 2026, according to the company.
The offer covering the 10.500% senior notes due 2029 now closes at 17:00 CET on the new date. As of November 4, holders had tendered notes carrying an original principal amount of roughly EUR 6.4 million — a figure that reflects submissions received by that point, not a completed repurchase.
Alongside it, the buyback of the convertible bonds — EUR 760 million in paper with a 2.125% coupon maturing in 2027 — carries the same revised deadline of December 3, 2026, with settlement likewise pencilled in for December 8.

A Crowded November Calendar
The extended windows sit just ahead of the group's third-quarter 2026 results, which ams-OSRAM has scheduled for November 13. The company will also be on the floor at electronica in Munich, running from November 10 to November 13.
Chip Selloff Leaves the Tenders Untouched
The stock has had a bruising stretch, shedding 22% over seven days. Press reports linked the sharp weekly decline to a selloff across Swiss semiconductor names, with no company-specific trigger identified.
Those reports pointed to worries that the outcome of the US midterm elections could slow data-center buildout, compounded by doubts over the profitability of artificial intelligence investments. Both concerns attach to the wider sector backdrop rather than to the terms of ams-OSRAM's repurchase offers. The shares found their footing on Friday, adding 1.9% to close at EUR 16.00.
