Andritz's latest quarterly figures paint a mixed picture: revenue and earnings climbed at a solid clip, yet incoming orders slipped slightly, a divergence that puts the focus squarely on the group's confirmed full-year targets. The numbers, released roughly a week ago, cover the third quarter of 2026.

Revenue for the period came in at 2,059.6 MEUR, up 9.2% year on year. Comparable EBITA rose 10.3% to 184.9 MEUR, outpacing the top-line advance, while consolidated net profit jumped 14.4% to 127.3 MEUR. Orders, by contrast, edged down 0.6% to 2,166.2 MEUR — still comfortably above quarterly revenue, and enough to mark the eighth consecutive quarter in which order intake has topped the 2 billion euro threshold.

Management left its guidance untouched. For the full year 2026, Andritz continues to expect revenue of 8.0 to 8.3 billion euros and a comparable EBITA margin of 8.7% to 9.1%.

On the operational front, the Austrian group reported progress in India, where it has commissioned a second acid regeneration plant for JSW Steel Coated Products Limited at the Vasind site in Maharashtra. The unit can process 6,400 litres of spent pickling acid per hour. Together with the existing facility, it covers the site's full regeneration requirements.

A separate Indian project involves bamboo processing. According to media reports, Andritz supplied equipment for the ethanol plant operated by Assam Bio Ethanol Private Limited, which opened in September 2025.

Closer to home, Andritz Hydro has relocated its headquarters within Kriens, moving staff from the Bell site to the neighbouring Schappe Center, where around 130 employees now work. The service workshop is slated to move to Buchrain at the start of 2028. The site also drew emergency attention on Thursday when a chemical reaction during work with chemicals caused heavy smoke, though the fire brigade confirmed no one was injured and the public was never at risk.
