Branicks Group Sets 2038 Horizon on Restructured Debt as Reporting Calendar Tightens
Published on 10/26/2026 at 09:40 | Editorial boerse-global.deBranicks Group has won overwhelming creditor backing for its debt overhaul, with 99% of votes cast favouring the restructuring, yet the German real estate company still has technical conditions to clear before the plan is fully executed. The company is targeting completion by 31 December 2026, with 31 March 2027 as the outside deadline — a timetable that describes an intended implementation rather than a finished process.
The maturity profile emerging from the agreement stretches well into the next decade. A total of EUR 375 million is now slated for repayment on 30 September 2030, while a further EUR 220 million falls due on 30 September 2038. The package therefore spreads the company's obligations across two distinct horizons rather than a single refinancing date.
Creditor consent, disclosed on Tuesday, follows an agreement Branicks announced on 15 October with key lenders. That deal was designed to let the company push ahead with the restructuring concept despite the extraordinary general meeting's rejection of one agenda item — a vote that had left the plan exposed. At the time, Branicks warned that without a solution involving major creditors, the company's continued existence would be in immediate jeopardy.

Supervisory Board Seats Filled After October Truce
The 15 October announcement also resolved a governance loose end. Dr. Matthias Danne and Dr. Johannes Conradi had initially declined their elections to the supervisory board; both subsequently accepted their mandates as part of the creditor agreement.
Shareholders had rejected agenda item 4, covering consultancy contracts, roughly two weeks earlier. Media reports on Thursday characterised the creditor vote as an endorsement of the very restructuring plan the general meeting had partially blocked.
Three Reports Land on the Same Date
Branicks' financial calendar adds a further logistical wrinkle. The company has scheduled its 2025 annual report, its 2025 sustainability report and its third-quarter 2026 report for a single date: 31 December 2026. That is the same day Branicks has named as its planned completion point for the restructuring — meaning the fullest public account of the company's finances is due to arrive alongside the moment it intends to finish reshaping them.
On the market side, the shares fell 4.1% on Friday to close at EUR 0.3980, extending a decline as the company works to reorganise its financing.
