Healthineers Prepares for Life After Siemens as Diagnostics Unit Takes the Olyrian Name
Published on 11/07/2026 at 17:04 | Editorial boerse-global.deSiemens Healthineers is laying the groundwork for a future outside the Siemens orbit, and the bill for that separation is coming into focus. The diagnostics division will be carved out under the name Olyrian Diagnostics, built up step by step as a standalone organisation, though it stays inside Healthineers until the transition is expected to close around mid-2028.
Siemens intends to deconsolidate Healthineers in 2027 through a spin-off, with shareholder meetings at both companies slated to vote on the move in February 2027. The rebranding to Healthineers — a name change that itself requires shareholder approval — is set to begin in 2027 and run over three years, giving the company a multi-year runway for the switch.
Analysts See a Soft Spot in the 2027 Guidance
Deutsche Bank Research kept its "Hold" rating and a €39 price target on the stock yesterday, with analyst Falko Friedrichs calling the fourth-quarter results mixed and pointing in particular to Precision Therapy. Berenberg was similarly guarded, reaffirming on Thursday its "Hold" and a €40 target; Sam England reckons the midpoint of the earnings guidance for fiscal 2026/27 sits 3% below consensus.
For fiscal 2027, Healthineers expects adjusted unadjusted earnings per share of €2.20–2.40 and comparable revenue growth of 4.0–5.0%. In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, comparable revenue rose 5.9% and adjusted EPS came in at €0.69.

Restructuring Costs Weigh on the Shares
Expected separation costs added to the pressure on the stock Thursday. Reuters put the burden from the diagnostics spin-off, the split from Siemens and the sharper focus on ultrasound at roughly €300 million.
To absorb that, Healthineers has announced an efficiency programme dubbed "Transform4 Future", with measures to be implemented between 2028 and 2030. According to the Reuters report, the plan targets €400 million in savings in the diagnostics business and at least €300 million in the remaining Healthineers operations. Finance chief Jochen Schmitz said the measures would also affect jobs.
Board Reshuffle Heads to the 2027 Meeting
The supervisory board is due for changes as well. On Wednesday the controlling body said it would propose Melanie Kreis, Heyo Kroemer, Jonathan Lewin and Pascale Witz as new shareholder representatives at the 2027 annual general meeting. Roland Busch plans to step down before his term ends, while the mandates of Veronika Bienert, Marion Helmes and Karl-Heinz Streibich expire as scheduled at the 2027 meeting. Ralf Thomas and Peter Körte are to be put forward for re-election.
Siemens Healthineers at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
Those personnel decisions will sit on the same agenda as the name change requiring approval, while the deconsolidation Siemens is pursuing will be put to votes at both companies' meetings in February 2027.
