OHB Charts a Busy November: Sentinel-3 Mandate, Hera's First Look at Didymos and Q3 Numbers on the Calendar

OHB SE shares ended Friday's session down 3.4% at EUR 192.80, caught in a broad pullback across European space and defence names. Media reports pointed to sector-wide weakness rather than any company-specific trigger behind the decline.
The Bremen-based group's news flow, meanwhile, has been anything but quiet. Its OHB System AG subsidiary has been awarded a contract by the European Space Agency to develop the next generation of Sentinel-3 topography satellites under the Copernicus programme. According to Börsen-Zeitung, the mandate carries a volume of more than EUR 554 million and includes an option for a second satellite.
Astroscale Tie-Up Still at the Exploratory Stage
Roughly two weeks ago, OHB SE and Astroscale Holdings Inc. signed a letter of intent. Per Astroscale, the two sides will examine possible cooperation on space safety, situational awareness in orbit and in-orbit services. No concrete order was announced alongside the agreement — the document covers the exploration of a partnership, not its implementation.

Hera Delivers Its First View of Didymos
There has also been progress on Hera, the ESA probe built by OHB System. The spacecraft has transmitted its first image of the Didymos asteroid system back to Earth, according to OHB. The ESA has flagged detailed imagery for 25 November.
Before that date arrives, investors get a look at the company's financial trajectory: OHB will publish its figures for the third quarter of 2026 on 12 November, with the schedule listing 08:00 as the release time. That makes the results the next scheduled update on the business — and it lands ahead of the ESA's date for the closer Didymos pictures.
