Two Wall Street houses sharpened their bullish stance on Replimune on Thursday, with Leerink Partners and Jefferies each lifting their price targets while keeping positive ratings intact. The moves shift attention to the commercial rollout of TUDRIQEV, roughly a month after the product's US launch, and arrive on the heels of a quarterly report that showed a narrower loss but no path to profitability yet.

Leerink Partners raised its target to $31 from $19 and reiterated its "Outperform" rating, citing growing confidence in the US market debut of TUDRIQEV. Jefferies, for its part, took its target to $29 from $24 while maintaining its buy recommendation. Both firms now point to higher price levels, though their targets are estimates rather than guarantees of where the shares will trade. At Leerink, the link to the launch is explicit; the Jefferies note carried no further rationale in the report.

Prescriptions Offer a First Data Point

The optimism has an operational anchor. Replimune said Wednesday that more than 15 sites had already prescribed TUDRIQEV, giving a concrete early signal of uptake following the US sales launch about a month ago. That figure, however, measures adoption rather than revenue: a count of prescribing institutions says nothing on its own about sales volume or eventual profitability, and the gap between early prescriptions and a financially successful franchise remains the central question for investors.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Replimune?

A Smaller Loss, and a Cash Cushion

Replimune's fiscal second quarter of 2027 showed a net loss of $57.1 million, or $0.54 per share, an improvement from the $83.1 million loss recorded a year earlier. The company remains in the red. Against that, it ended the quarter on September 30 with cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities of $307.8 million — a liquidity base that must fund both the early commercialization effort and ongoing clinical work.

Those programs are advancing: the Phase 3 IGNYTE-3 trial and the Phase 2/3 REVEAL study are both actively enrolling participants, according to the company. Enrollment reflects study progress, not outcomes.

Filings That Require Careful Reading

Two separate disclosures round out the picture. On Wednesday, Replimune filed a Form 144 covering a planned sale of 12,000 shares by board member Veleka Peeples-Dyer — a notice of intent, not a completed transaction. A day earlier, Lifshitz Law PLLC announced it was investigating possible securities-law violations and breaches of fiduciary duty related to Replimune. Those are allegations, not findings.

The distinction matters when weighing the upgraded targets. Early prescriptions and the reduced quarterly loss are reported developments; the confidence drawn from them is an analyst expectation. The higher price targets reflect changing forecasts, not revenue already booked — and with the stock still unprofitable, that confidence will be tested by how the TUDRIQEV rollout translates into actual sales.
