Siemens Energy: Two Broker Endorsements, a Mexican Electrolyser Deal and the 11 November Earnings Date
Published on 11/07/2026 at 05:31 | Editorial boerse-global.deSiemens Energy drew fresh support from two major brokers this week, with JPMorgan and UBS both reaffirming bullish stances just days before the company is due to report full-year results. The stock closed Friday up 3.8% at EUR 117.20, a rare bright spot on a day when the DAX fell sharply, according to dts.
JPMorgan kept its "Overweight" rating and a EUR 245 price target. Analyst Phil Buller pointed to an investor survey showing muted expectations ahead of the upcoming quarterly report and the capital markets day. UBS had already confirmed its "Buy" rating and EUR 210 target on Wednesday, with analyst Christopher Leonard arguing that the stock's losses during the sector-wide selloff were unjustified.
AI Regulation Fears Weigh on the Stock
The rebound comes after a difficult stretch. Over the past seven days the shares are still down 7.3%. Media reports attributed the prior pressure to worries about stricter US rules for AI data centres and a generally weaker equity market mood. Siemens Energy was singled out as particularly sensitive to news on AI data centres because it supplies key customers in that industry, and the concern was that tighter regulation could hit those clients.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Siemens Energy?
The Südwest Presse reported Thursday that fears over AI regulation and the broader market dragged the stock lower without any concrete negative company-specific trigger. The reports did not identify a company-specific catalyst for Friday's recovery either.
Contract Wins in Mexico and Japan
On the corporate side, Transition Industries signed a binding EPC contract with Siemens Energy and Techint Engineering & Construction on 30 October for an electrolysis plant at the Pacifico Mexinol project in Sinaloa, Mexico. The facility will have a capacity of around 210 MW. The agreement is subject to customary conditions precedent, including project financing, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2027.
Separately, Siemens Energy and Japan's METI signed a cooperation agreement on 29 October covering floating offshore wind, supply chains and workforce development. The company plans to establish its first strategic operations and maintenance base in Asia, located in Hokkaido.
What to Watch on 11 November
Siemens Energy has scheduled the release of fourth-quarter and fiscal 2026 results for 11 November. According to the calendar, the figures are due at 7:00 CET, with an analyst webcast set to begin at 10:00 CET. A press conference and an analyst conference are also planned for the same day, giving management the opportunity to walk media and analysts through the completed financial year. Both broker endorsements predate that reporting date.
