Autumn has turned into a buyer's market for anyone outfitting a home office. FlexiSpot, the office furniture manufacturer, launched a seasonal promotion in which a broad range of its products carries a 30 percent discount, according to media reports dated 9 October 2026. The same day's coverage put the deepest cuts — reserved for selected home-office items — at as much as 50 percent.
Those reductions land in a segment where several makers of ergonomic desks and workplace solutions are simultaneously courting home-office buyers with special offers.
Adjustable desk systems lead the sales push
Height-adjustable desk systems sit at the centre of current sales activity in workplace ergonomics. Alongside FlexiSpot, the supplier Deskspace is running a clearance promotion for its Deskspace Pro Plus model.
That desk frame carries two motors and adjusts at 38 millimetres per second, spanning a height range of 62 to 127 centimetres. It supports up to 160 kilograms, includes integrated USB ports and comes with a ten-year warranty.
Promotional codes bring the price of the bare frame, shipping included, down from a regular 309 euros to 216.30 euros. Complete desks under the offer run from 279.30 euros for a 120-by-60-centimetre format up to 419.30 euros for 200-by-80-centimetre dimensions. Deskspace also grants a 100-day trial period with free returns.
US manufacturer Vari has likewise cut the price of its height-adjustable desk. The Electric Standing Desk with ComfortEdge, sized 60 by 30 inches, is reduced by 25 percent under a promotion running until 12 October, selling for 674.25 US dollars instead of the regular 899 US dollars. Built to carry equipment weighing up to 200 pounds, the model offers an adjustment range of 25 to 50.5 inches and four programmable height settings.
Test results and fresh furnishing concepts
The deals coincide with new product testing in the motorised desk category. In a comparative study by Computer Bild in early October, which examined 13 height-adjustable desks measuring 160 by 80 centimetres, the Desktronic HomePro took the test victory with a grade of 1.5.
According to the test report, the desk — bamboo top, two motors, 65 centimetres of adjustment range — costs 419.99 euros, while other product reports price it at 483.99 euros. The FLEXISPOT E1 Pro earned an overall grade of 2.1 in the same test.
Manufacturers are broadening their ranges of complementary ergonomic office furniture at the same time. Klöber unveiled the LOOC office swivel chair, designed by Jörg Bernauer. The seat relies on a foam-free construction combining mesh-structure, pocket-spring and 3D-fabric technology, with seat and back elements that move in three dimensions.
Ikea, too, is responding to shifting workplace requirements, adding the MITTZON model at 499 euros — a screened workstation solution with felt walls intended for laptop work.
