T1 Energy has pencilled in November 12 for the release of its third-quarter 2026 results, with a conference call scheduled for the same day. The company said the figures will land at roughly 6:00 a.m. US Eastern time, with the call getting under way at 8:00 a.m. The stock rose 3.7% on the announcement, though the day's larger move came from a separate development: a 17% jump to €2.22 tied to the company's import waiver news.

That waiver, disclosed on Thursday, came from the US Department of Commerce and permits T1 Energy to bring in solar cells with a capacity of up to 1.725 gigawatts. It sits within the polysilicon framework under Section 232 and, according to the company, is designed to keep module production running without interruption at its G1_Dallas site while construction of its own cell plant in Texas continues.

The permitted imports are also meant to serve demand already locked in by contract, so the exemption covers both ongoing manufacturing and supply for committed orders. T1 Energy added that appetite for domestically produced cells and modules has picked up since the Section-232 proclamation — an assessment that comes from the company itself and spans both product categories.

First Cells From Texas Expected in Early 2027

For the Texas cell factory now under construction, T1 Energy expects first output in the first quarter of 2027. The import authorisation is intended to bridge the build-out period; the production start remains an expectation rather than a fixed commitment. The company has tied the same early-2027 timeline to G2_Austin, where the first solar cells are slated to roll off the line.

Separately, T1 Energy confirmed on October 15 that it intends to settle the third instalment for intellectual property acquired from Evervolt in shares. The obligation in question totals $30.0 million, which the company elected to pay with 9,962,645 shares.

That issuance has been held back, however, by a 4.99% ownership cap, so choosing the share route has not yet translated into the actual issue of those shares. The mandatory disclosure also shows that 2,246,377 shares tied to the September instalment had already been deferred, meaning that earlier payment remains outstanding in stock form as well.

With the November reporting date now fixed, the quarterly figures and the accompanying call stand as the next confirmed items on T1 Energy's calendar.
