TUI Opens 600-Itinerary Tours Portal as Cruise Repair Timeline and Stakeholder Shift Draw Focus
Published on 11/08/2026 at 04:34 | Editorial boerse-global.deTUI Suisse launched a new tours brand on Tuesday, giving the group's Swiss arm a catalogue of more than 600 round-trip proposals worldwide alongside the ability to assemble bespoke itineraries in close to 100 countries. The dual format means travellers can either pick from pre-built routes or build their own.
The rollout sits alongside a separate disclosure on the shareholder register. TUI reported a holding by Pale Fire Capital, the Czech investment group.
Bremerhaven Repair Slips Past Schedule
On the cruise side, TUI Cruises has extended repair work on the "Mein Schiff 3" in Bremerhaven, forcing the cancellation of a voyage that had been scheduled for 14 to 28 November. The company confirmed the move on Thursday, attributing it to work taking longer than expected following a collision.
Media reported on 25 October that TUI Cruises had confirmed a collision with a container ship while the vessel was leaving Bremerhaven. The ship returned to the pier so that damage could be assessed. A return to the regular timetable is targeted from 28 November.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying TUI?
The earlier Canary Islands voyage had already been scrapped, and on 30 October media coverage highlighted differing views among travel-law specialists over possible compensation claims. A final liability assessment was still pending at the time of that report, leaving open the question of additional claims from affected passengers.
Voting Rights Cross the 5% Line
On the register, a mandatory notification published on 30 October disclosed that Pale Fire Capital's attributable voting stake had risen to 5.15%, with the threshold crossed on 27 October.
Tuesday's media coverage linked gains in TUI shares to softening oil prices and hopes of a de-escalation in the Iran conflict, factors that were seen as brightening the outlook for the group's airline and cruise operations.

The stock added 0.4% on Friday, capping a week that brought news on the tours offering, the shareholder stake and cruise operations. TUI's next confirmed financial date is 9 December 2026, when the annual report, an analyst event and the balance-sheet press conference are all scheduled.
