Sedgman awarded Australian copper-project contract
On October 1, 2026, the ACS Group pressroom reported that CIMIC Group company Sedgman had been awarded a design, procurement and construction contract by KGL Resources for the processing plant at the Jervois Copper Project in Australia's Northern Territory. Sedgman is to deliver the processing plant, including commissioning, testing and associated infrastructure and services. The plant is designed to process two million tonnes of ore per year and produce a single copper concentrate.
