DiaSorin S.p.A. said the purchases were made under a program authorized by the shareholders’ meeting on January 27, 2026. The program was designed to cancel the repurchased shares without reducing share capital and had a maximum expenditure of EUR 250 million, with a limit of 4.5 million shares.
The final purchase took place on October 5, when DiaSorin bought 40,523 shares for EUR 3,072,062.95 at an average price of EUR 75.8104. The company said the program’s purchases represented 6.78 percent of share capital. Including treasury shares already held, DiaSorin had 6,683,050 treasury shares, equal to 11.95 percent of share capital, as of October 5.
