DSM-Firmenich announced on October 1 that it had completed its EUR 540 million share repurchase program, which began on March 12, 2026. The program covered EUR 40 million for commitments under share-based compensation plans and EUR 500 million for reducing issued capital, according to the dsm-firmenich release.
Under the completed program, 7,169,147 shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 75.32 for total consideration of EUR 540 million. The company said it intends to cancel 6,488,446 shares by the end of the first quarter of 2027, reducing issued shares by approximately 2.6 percent from 253,626,947 to 247,138,501.
