Capital management plans
In a release dated September 30, 2026, PZU said it was preparing a capital-bond issue with a nominal value of up to PLN 3 billion. The potential transaction is connected with refinancing subordinated bonds issued in 2017, which mature in July 2027.
The company said the planned operation is intended to support long-term capital management and maintain a stable, efficient capital structure. PZU added that its supervisory board had issued a positive opinion on the management board's request. The proposed bonds would be unsecured, subordinated capital instruments with a maturity of at least 10 years and variable interest, subject to required approvals and other legal conditions.
