Advanced Navigation reported on September 22, 2026, that it had secured a supply agreement involving KONGSBERG’s PROTECTOR counter-unmanned aerial systems platforms, according to MarketScreener.
Navigation systems for PROTECTOR platforms
The report said Advanced Navigation would supply Boreas fiber-optic gyroscope inertial navigation systems for integration into KONGSBERG PROTECTOR platforms. The systems are designed to support positioning, orientation and heading in environments where GPS signals may be jammed, spoofed or unavailable, the report said.
Delivery to Poland
According to the report, the PROTECTOR platforms are intended for delivery to the Polish Armaments Agency as part of a broader defense program. The report also described the agreement as a continuation of an earlier collaboration involving Advanced Navigation’s Boreas D90 system and the PROTECTOR RS4 platform.
