Girtz Industries acquisition
Legrand announced on October 6 that it had agreed to acquire Girtz Industries in the United States. The company, based in Monticello, Indiana, designs customized modular power-integration solutions, including Power Pods, and provides testing and technical services. Legrand said Girtz employs around 300 people and generates annual revenue of nearly $80 million. Legrand said the acquisition supports applications including data centers, industrial, infrastructure and commercial projects.
Updated long-term ambitions
In its September 28 Capital Markets Day release, Legrand set out 2027-2030 ambitions including organic sales growth of 6% to 8% annually, an adjusted operating margin of 21% to 22% of sales on average and free cash flow of 13% to 15% of sales on average, assuming no major macroeconomic disruption. Legrand also said acquisitions were expected to contribute around 5% annually through scope effects on average during the period.
