Private-credit analytics launch
Moody's Corporation and Allvue Systems announced on October 1, 2026, the launch of the Moody's Analytics EDF-X Private Credit Model, according to a Moody's release. The model uses de-identified private-credit borrower performance data contributed by Allvue and is designed to identify early signals of borrower stress, including covenant waivers and payment-in-kind arrangements.
The release said the model separately estimates the likelihood of hard credit events, such as missed payments, and soft credit events that may precede them. It is available to customers of both companies through the Moody's Analytics EDF-X API. Moody's said the model complements its existing private-credit solutions and is distinct from credit ratings and other services provided by Moody's Ratings.
