Neoen has begun construction on three solar farms and one wind farm in France, with a combined capacity of 101 MW, according to a company release dated September 24, 2026.

Four projects under construction

The portfolio includes the 41 MWp BA 217 Solar Farm at a military base in Essonne, the 30 MWp Saint-Just Solar Farm in Cher and the 16 MWp La Ferme des Cros Solar Farm in Charente. Neoen said the Saint-Just and La Ferme des Cros projects will combine farming with renewable-energy generation. The Moulin à Vent Wind Farm in Haute-Vienne has a capacity of 14 MW and is expected to generate about 28.5 GWh annually. Neoen said the BA 217, Saint-Just and La Ferme des Cros projects are scheduled to begin operating in the first half of 2028, while the wind farm is scheduled for commissioning in late 2027.

French capacity

Neoen said its total capacity in France now exceeds 2.5 GW in operation or under construction. The company also said a further 300 MW is expected to enter construction over the next 12 months. The figures and project details were provided in the company's September 24 release. Neoen
