Fund structure proposal
Briefs reported that the proposed structure would place older holdings in one portfolio and newer investments in a smaller sleeve. Investors would retain the option to redeem from one or both sub-portfolios, while the proposal remains subject to shareholder approval.
The report said Global Value SICAV held EUR 6.60 billion. It also said redemption requests were estimated at 9.8 percent in the second quarter, prompting a quarterly redemption cap of 5 percent of net asset value in June; third-quarter requests reached the cap again.
Other portfolio changes
The report said Partners Group also intends to liquidate a separate EUR 469 million trust listed in London after a majority of investors sought to exit. It described the fund changes as part of the firm's response to redemption pressure in evergreen vehicles and slower exits in private markets.
