In a release dated October 5, 2026, PTC said Schneider Electric and PTC had signed a definitive agreement under which Schneider Electric would acquire PTC. The all-cash offer is for $205 per share and values PTC's equity at approximately $22.6 billion, or EUR 20.1 billion.

The same release said the transaction implies an enterprise value of $23.7 billion, or EUR 21.1 billion.
