Swatch brand marks anniversary with new collection
On September 24, the Swatch brand, presented on The Swatch Group AG’s official website, announced a six-watch collection celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel. The collection brings together works by six artists from China: Feng Bin, Green Lava, Han Feng, Luo Bi, Wang Shuai and Yu Yang.
The official release said the Swatch Art Peace Hotel opened on November 1, 2011, and described the residency as a platform for artists to live, work and exchange ideas. Each of the six watches is based on an original artwork created by one of the participating artists.
