The artificial intelligence firm Verses AI has bolstered its financial position by completing the second and final portion of a recent private placement. This financing initiative has provided the company with total gross proceeds exceeding CAD 1.1 million. Concurrently, management has taken steps to strengthen the balance sheet by converting a portion of its outstanding debt into equity.

On March 27, the company finalized the offering's second tranche, issuing 473,500 units at a price of CAD 0.75 each. This transaction generated approximately CAD 355,125 in gross proceeds. When combined with the initial tranche completed on March 16, the total capital raised amounts to CAD 1,100,930.

In a separate but related move, Verses AI extinguished debt obligations totaling CAD 132,300. The settlement was executed through the issuance of 1,644,307 units to the creditors. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one share purchase warrant. These full warrants entitle the holder to acquire an additional common share at an exercise price of CAD 1.00 for a period of 24 months.
