The AI presentation platform Gamma.app crossed 100 million users on June 11, the company announced that same day. Its latest funding round – a Series B worth $68 million (roughly €63 million) – gives the firm a valuation of about $2.1 billion. Annual revenue currently sits at $100 million.
The milestone underscores a broader shift: AI-supported solutions are rapidly entering business communication, both on the software and hardware sides.
Canva, the graphic design giant, rolled out an offline mode on June 11 as well. Users can now edit designs for up to 14 days without an internet connection; as soon as the device reconnects, everything syncs automatically. The company also expanded its AI integration starting early June. AI-generated images can be broken into editable layers, working in tandem with systems like ChatGPT and Google Gemini. That feature was used nine million times in its first four weeks.
On the hardware front, Logitech has launched the Spotlight 2 presentation remote, designed to ease stage fright with haptic feedback. The device uses targeted vibration pulses to guide presenters through controlled breathing exercises before or during a talk. A pressure-sensitive control lets users navigate slides, while digital highlighting tools include a magnifying glass, a digital spotlight, and on-screen annotations.
The remote’s body is made from aluminum and 43 percent recycled plastic. It connects via Bluetooth or a USB-C receiver, with a range of around 30 meters. Logitech claims the battery lasts up to three months, and a one-minute charge provides three hours of use. The price is roughly €130. Supported software includes PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote on both Windows and macOS.
