Good Weather for Immaculate Conception arrives on 6 November
The album has been announced for 6 November 2026 as a 14-track collection of seasonal standards, previously released covers and two original songs. The release date and album format are set out in Billboard’s album announcement.
The release is scheduled through Epiphany Music/Virgin Music, as outlined in Consequence’s release details. The project gives familiar seasonal material a single home while adding songs written specifically for the collection.
Alanis Morissette turns festive singles into a full album
Alanis Morissette is a Canadian alternative rock singer whose catalogue includes a long-running series of festive recordings. The new collection brings that seasonal strand together as a complete album rather than another standalone holiday release.
That structure places her established rock identity beside traditional material and collaborative performances. It also connects the album’s two original songs with covers that have already formed part of her Christmas repertoire.
The 14-track collection brings together seasonal collaborators
The programme includes O Holy Night, What Child Is This?, Happy Xmas (War Is Over), Little Drummer Boy, Ave Maria, River, Last Christmas and Silent Night. The two originals are Christmas on the Dancefloor and To an Empath at Christmas Time.
Beautiful Star of Bethlehem features Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin. The collaborators also include Joy Oladokun, Amythyst Kiah, Trans Voices and Martin Short, with the track list pairing them with Silent Night, Momma Mary, O Tannenbaum and Merry Christmas.
