Calvin Harris bridges Scottish production and dance-pop
Harris comes from Scotland and works across electronic dance music, club production and pop crossover. His role at Head Trip brings DJ performance and producer craft into a festival setting built around electronic music.
His catalogue includes I Created Disco, 18 Months and Motion. Collaborations with Rihanna and Ellie Goulding helped carry his electronic sound into mainstream pop. AllMusic’s biography places him within electronic and pop-rock styles and notes his work as a producer and DJ.
Head Trip combines one stage with a broad electronic bill
The festival uses a single-stage format, according to the event listing, so its published performers share one programme rather than playing overlapping stages. Harris is listed for the 10 October date, while the wider weekend brings together established electronic acts.
