Dua Lipa brings Service95 Book Club to Royal Festival Hall
The London Literature Festival is built around talks, readings and discussions, and the 25 October 2026 session gives Dua Lipa a live role as interviewer. The festival programme lists Dua Lipa & Patti Smith: Bread of Angels at Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, London. It describes Patti Smith discussing her memoir Bread of Angels in conversation with Lipa. The organiser lists a 7.30pm start for the event.
An Official Charts preview places the festival in Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary programme and names Lipa’s Patti Smith conversation. The same programme continues the Service95 Book Club partnership across the festival, with author, poetry and discussion events.
Dua Lipa’s Service95 work expands her pop profile
Dua Lipa is a British-Albanian singer from London whose music combines pop, dance and R&B. A Britannica biography describes her music as a blend of pop, dance and R&B. Her catalogue includes Dua Lipa, Future Nostalgia and Radical Optimism, while her work has also extended into a media and reading platform.
Service95 includes a newsletter, podcast and book club, and the Southbank programme identifies the book club as the partner behind her festival curation. The Royal Festival Hall event connects Lipa’s pop career with the reading platform she founded, while Patti Smith brings music and memoir into the programme. That combination gives the 25 October 2026 programme a specific format: a conversation led by a recording artist rather than a conventional stage set.
Service95 events continue at Southbank Centre until 1 November
Further dates keep the festival at Southbank Centre through 1 November 2026. On 28 October, Malorie Blackman presents Noughts & Crosses at 25 at Queen Elizabeth Hall. On 29 October, Tice Cin’s Safe Spaces is scheduled for Purcell Room.
Service95 Book Club: Fierce Sounds follows on 30 October at Queen Elizabeth Hall. Service95 and English PEN: Censorship Live! is scheduled for 31 October at Purcell Room. On 1 November, Hanif and Carlo Kureishi discuss Are You With Me Now? at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
