The Australian tour announcement describes the Take Cover Tour as a stadium run across Australia and New Zealand. Suncorp Stadium lists a 5.30pm AEST show start and 4pm gates for 5 November 2026.
Foo Fighters connect Seattle roots with stadium rock
The band’s Seattle origin is tied to Dave Grohl’s recording project before it developed into a full live group. Foo Fighters are now an American alternative rock band whose stadium performances carry that recording history into large venues.
The touring lineup comprises Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin. The Brisbane pairing gives this stop its own local programme while connecting it with the band’s wider stadium presentation.
The Take Cover Tour continues across Australia
The promoter’s tour list places the next dates in Townsville on 7 November, Sydney on 10 November, Newcastle on 12 November, Melbourne on 14 November and Adelaide on 17 November 2026. The later schedule moves to Christchurch on 19 January 2027, Auckland on 22 January and Perth on 25 January.
