Iron Maiden announced a final North American run on 16 October 2026, extending their Run For Your Lives tour into 2027. The addition reverses the band’s planned live break and gives the current touring campaign a further series of shows.
Iron Maiden’s new dates extend Run For Your Lives
The announcement covers 16 further performances across the United States and Canada. NME describes standalone arena and amphitheatre dates, followed by headline festival appearances at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland.
The same account names Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age as support acts for the non-festival shows. Iron Maiden’s official news update lists the announcement under 16 October 2026.
Iron Maiden’s live line-up carries into the extension
The new dates remain part of the same touring identity, rather than forming a separate project. Run For Your Lives is the tour name attached to the announcement, and the added North American leg is described as its final run.
That wording gives the extension a clear place within the band’s live schedule while keeping the focus on performances. Steve Harris is the bassist who explains the extension in the announcement, while NME identifies Simon Dawson as the drummer for current live performances.
Iron Maiden’s North American plan includes two festivals
The 2027 programme combines regular venue dates with two festival headline slots. At Sonic Temple and Boardwalk Rock, the band will headline, while Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age are attached to the standalone concerts.
That split keeps the festival appearances distinct from the support-led venue shows. For Iron Maiden, the extension links the tour’s anniversary framing with a final North American route that moves from conventional venues to festivals, as the published tour details show.
