KATSEYE release the new single Unloveu on 14 October 2026, bringing a track from the physical edition of WILD to digital platforms. Lara co-wrote the song with Ross Golan and Amy Allen.
KATSEYE turn a WILD bonus track into a digital single
The track had previously appeared only as a hidden bonus on physical limited-edition copies of WILD. Its 14 October digital release therefore changes the song’s format rather than introducing it as an entirely unheard recording.
The digital release arrived with a black-and-white visualiser unveiled through HYBE LABELS. The track uses restrained vocals and layered harmonies, presenting a quieter contrast with the dance-led material associated with WILD.
KATSEYE built a global pop identity through Dream Academy
KATSEYE are a global girl group based in Los Angeles, formed through Dream Academy, a joint project of HYBE and Geffen Records. The official KATSEYE biography identifies six members from the United States, Switzerland, the Philippines and South Korea.
The group’s catalogue includes the debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) and the follow-up BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. That international foundation gives Unloveu a different role within the catalogue: Lara’s writing contribution is placed at the centre of a release that expands an existing EP track into a standalone digital single.
Unloveu extends KATSEYE’s WILD era
Unloveu keeps the song connected to the physical editions of WILD while making it easier to approach as a separate release. The track’s intimate arrangement also broadens the musical range represented by the EP.
Ross Golan and Amy Allen join Lara in the songwriting credits. Their collaboration gives the single a clear link to KATSEYE’s current creative period without separating it from the group’s wider WILD project.
