Kings of Leon formed in Nashville and comprise brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill alongside their cousin Matthew Followill. Their sound developed from a Southern garage-rock base into a broader rock style.
A Nashville band profile describes the group’s roots and identifies the four current members. It also places songs such as Sex on Fire and Use Somebody among the group’s best-known work.
