Morgan Wallen announced the three-day Sand In My Boots festival on 2 November 2026, with the event scheduled for Gulf Shores, Alabama, from 21 to 23 May 2027. AEG Presents and Wallen also named Kings of Leon and Ella Langley among the festival’s three headliners.
Sand In My Boots brings its three-day format to Gulf Shores
The announcement was published by the lineup announcement on 2 November 2026 and identifies the event as a three-day festival. The Gulf Shores festival listing places Sand In My Boots on the Alabama coast from 21 to 23 May 2027.
Together, the announcement and listing establish both the programme and its three-day setting. The festival will run from Friday through Sunday, with Gulf Shores serving as its host location.
Morgan Wallen connects country music with a broad festival bill
Sand In My Boots is presented as a festival curated by Wallen, with a programme spanning country, rock, hip-hop and electronic music. The announced bill therefore connects Wallen’s country identity with a much broader Alabama programme.
His official artist biography describes him as a country artist and identifies I’m The Problem as his fourth studio album, released through Big Loud and Mercury. That recorded work gives the festival a direct link to his catalogue, while the lineup reaches beyond a single genre.
Kygo, Nelly and Third Eye Blind widen the 2027 lineup
Beyond the three headliners, the announced roster includes Kygo, Empire Of The Sun, Nelly, Flo Rida and Third Eye Blind. It also includes Koe Wetzel, Cole Swindell, Midland, Gavin Adcock and Hudson Westbrook.
Further names include Kameron Marlowe, Girl Talk, Jason Scott & The High Heat and Rick Ross. The range makes the 2027 programme broader than a conventional country-only bill while keeping Wallen at its centre.
