Mumford & Sons appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on 6 October

Mumford & Sons appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on 6 October 2026, performing Here from Prizefighter with Chris Thile. The televised performance paired the band’s current album with a guest musician who replaced Chris Stapleton’s studio vocal contribution.

Jimmy Kimmel Live brings Here to the screen

The performance centred on Here, a track from Prizefighter that was presented with a live vocal role for Thile. His appearance changed the personnel around the song while retaining its connection to the studio recording.

A Kimmel performance account describes Thile as stepping in for Stapleton’s vocal segment. The programme therefore linked the band’s recorded collaborations with a separate musical partnership on television.

Mumford & Sons connect Here with Prizefighter

The official music catalogue places Here at the start of Prizefighter and credits Chris Stapleton on the track. The same album also includes collaborations involving Hozier, Gracie Abrams and Gigi Perez.

That arrangement gives the television performance a direct link to the record’s collaborative design. Thile’s role added a new voice to a song whose studio identity is tied to Stapleton.

Chris Thile joins a catalogue built on collaboration

The band’s catalogue moves through Sigh No More, Babel, Wilder Mind, Delta, Rushmere and Prizefighter. It also includes the live release The Road To Red Rocks Live.

Across Prizefighter, the credited guests extend beyond the Kimmel performance. Rubber Band Man features Hozier, Badlands features Gracie Abrams, and Icarus features Gigi Perez.
