Fauna Primavera sets New Order’s Chile date
Fauna Primavera runs across three days from 26 November to 28 November 2026. New Order are listed among the headliners alongside The Strokes and FKA twigs.
The programme also includes Johnny Marr, Of Monsters and Men, Tricky, Courtney Barnett and American Football. Chile Travel describes the programme as spanning alternative rock, indie, electronic and experimental pop in an open-air setting.
New Order’s own South America announcement places the wider November and December 2026 run in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. The band’s Chile appearance therefore sits within a broader South American live schedule.
The festival location is Parque Ciudad Empresarial in Huechuraba, part of Santiago’s metropolitan area. The event page lists the venue and the complete festival period from 26 November to 28 November 2026.
Manchester roots meet New Order’s electronic sound
New Order emerged from Manchester and developed a sound that bridges post-punk with electronic dance music. The BBC describes the group’s music as moving between rock, dance and electropop.
The band’s catalogue includes Blue Monday, a defining link between guitar-based rock and club music, and the studio album Music Complete. That combination places New Order naturally within a festival programme that brings alternative rock and electronic music together.
The group’s history also connects it to Factory Records and Manchester’s club culture. Its music continues to move between synthesised textures, dance rhythms and the angular feel associated with post-punk.
Fauna Primavera presents that range through a line-up that places New Order near artists from alternative rock, indie, electronic and experimental pop. The Santiago setting gives the festival a distinctly broad musical frame without reducing the band to one style.
Fauna Primavera brings a broad Santiago line-up
The festival’s headline group combines New Order with The Strokes and FKA twigs. Johnny Marr, Tricky, Of Monsters and Men, Courtney Barnett and American Football extend the programme across guitar music, electronic sounds and indie.
For New Order, the festival date is part of an international appearance list covering five South American countries. The official announcement identifies Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia as destinations for the band’s November and December 2026 performances.
