Shakira brings Latin pop to Iberdrola Music
Shakira is a Colombian singer-songwriter from Barranquilla whose work reaches both Spanish- and English-speaking markets, as Britannica describes her Colombian roots. That bilingual reach meets a Latin pop setting in Madrid, where the temporary stadium gives the 9 October concert a large-format home. With capacity for more than 50,000 fans per night, Estadio Shakira places the performance on a scale suited to the tour’s stadium presentation.
Es Latina expands the Madrid concert programme
The Madrid residency extends beyond the concert itself through exhibitions, talks, workshops, films, gastronomy, literature and other cultural experiences under the name Es Latina. For the 9 October show, that surrounding programme places Shakira’s Latin pop performance inside a broader cultural setting at Iberdrola Music.
