Stevie Wonder plays the LANXESS arena in Cologne on 26 October 2026 as part of the Songs In The Key Of Life Performances - 50th Anniversary Tour. The Germany date is the only NRW show on the 2026 schedule, and the concert centres on the 1976 album performed in full.
Stevie Wonder brings the anniversary show to Cologne
The Cologne concert is organised by Live Nation and produced by Wonder Productions, Inc. The arena describes the performance as a celebration of 50 years of Songs In The Key Of Life, with the album presented in full.
The LANXESS arena event details identify 26 October 2026 as the date. They also describe the Cologne booking as the only NRW date and identify two Germany dates for the run.
Why Songs In The Key Of Life shapes the programme
The concert focuses on one of Stevie Wonder’s defining 1970s works. The GRAMMY history of the album records its 1976 Album of the Year win and notes the four-song EP included with the double album.
Wonder’s Motown career began when the label signed him in 1961. The Motown Stevie Wonder profile traces his early recordings and identifies Songs In The Key Of Life as the culmination of his classic run. The Cologne date therefore joins a current arena performance to a record from the period that established his album-centred artistic identity.
Two Germany dates anchor the European itinerary
The Cologne performance is one of two German concerts on the announced European itinerary. Rolling Stone’s Germany dates list the other show for 24 October 2026 at ZAG Arena in Hanover.
The same tour continues through European and UK arenas before its North American dates. The Cologne appearance keeps the album presentation at the centre of the Germany leg.
