System of a Down’s place on the Texas festival bill
System of a Down appear in a festival programme built around established heavy-music names. The Fort Worth date pairs the band with Deftones and Slayer at a large-scale outdoor venue, while the wider bill adds Evanescence, The Prodigy and several other rock and metal acts.
The booking gives System of a Down a festival appearance rather than a standalone concert listing. That distinction matters to the event’s format: the organisers present Sick New World Texas as a full festival programme, with multiple artists sharing the same 24 October 2026 date at Texas Motor Speedway.
Sick New World expands its format with a Texas edition
Live Nation describes Sick New World Texas as the festival’s first expansion after two Las Vegas editions. The Fort Worth date therefore carries a distinct Texas identity while retaining the festival name and its heavy-music focus.
The official event page also provides a festival guide alongside the venue and date details. Its listing connects the public-facing festival information directly with Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, the location named for System of a Down’s appearance on 24 October 2026.
