Temper City released the single Sex & Drugs on 16 October 2026 through Thirty Knots and Interscope Records. The release arrived with an accompanying video and links a self-written studio track to the group’s live presentation.
Sex & Drugs gives Temper City a new release
The song was written and produced by the band during a spontaneous late-night session in a living room. Its subject examines the pursuit of temporary, intense attachments and asks whether those feelings are genuine or only the result of fleeting highs.
The accompanying video turns that idea into a story about a mouse chasing blocks of cheese before falling in love with a cat. The release details identify the track as a Thirty Knots/Interscope Records release.
Temper City’s members bring different roles to the release
The group comprises singer-songwriter Eytan Peled and the production duo Aviv Barenholtz and Chen Kordova. That division of roles links Sex & Drugs to the group’s formation. The vocalist leads the song, while the production partnership is part of its making.
Before releasing their own material, the members worked behind the scenes and wrote songs for other acts across electronic, blues and rock. The new single therefore sits between previous studio work and the group’s developing live identity.
Temper City’s official catalogue connects the new single to earlier work
The group’s official website places Reverse Psychology and Self Aware in its music section alongside its video material. That presentation connects the October release with the act’s earlier public-facing work while keeping the new song at the centre of the catalogue.
The band’s line-up also explains the track’s hybrid construction: Peled is identified as the singer-songwriter, while Barenholtz and Kordova are described as the production duo. The official music page presents the earlier titles and the act’s video work.
