The Strokes take Reality Awaits to Newcastle
The Newcastle date is an arena concert rather than a festival appearance. Utilita Arena Newcastle lists the address as Arena Way, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7NA, England, and gives 7pm as the event start.
The UK and Ireland announcement describes the run as the Reality Awaits tour. It also lists Co-op Live in Manchester on 26 October 2026 and 3Arena in Dublin on 28 October 2026. Fat White Family and Alex Cameron are named as support acts.
The Strokes’ sound meets Newcastle’s arena scale
The venue event details describe The Strokes as American rockers with a post-punk influenced sound, led onstage by frontman Julian Casablancas. The account highlights infectious hooks, edgy guitar riffs, basslines and pounding drums as part of the group’s live identity.
Songs such as Reptilia and Last Nite are named in the listing as examples from the live repertoire. The Newcastle date therefore combines a defined album cycle with a venue-led programme featuring two named supporting acts.
