Disneyland and Halloween Time continue in Anaheim through 31 October 2026, keeping seasonal attractions, entertainment and decorations across the California resort. The programme also includes Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure through 2 November 2026.
Halloween Time continues across Disneyland until 31 October
The operator’s 2026 seasonal events calendar lists Halloween Time from 21 August through 31 October 2026. It covers both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, with seasonal attractions, entertainment and decorations forming the main programme.
The same calendar lists Plaza de la Familia from 21 August through 2 November 2026. The event centres on the bonds of family, the music of Coco and the spirit of Dia de los Muertos at Disney California Adventure.
Seasonal programming changes the October visit
The October programme is not limited to decoration. Several attractions and shows follow seasonal schedules or close temporarily while the resort prepares for the winter holiday period.
The Orange County Register reported that It’s a Small World is scheduled to close on 30 October for its holiday overlay, with a planned return on 13 November. Indiana Jones Adventure and Mad Tea Party were already undergoing extended refurbishments, while Fantasmic and other experiences had scheduled October interruptions.
That combination gives Halloween Time a specific effect on the park experience. Visitors arriving before 31 October can find the Halloween programme in operation, but individual rides, shows and character experiences may not run on every day of the season.
Disneyland’s history meets a limited autumn programme
Disneyland Park opened in Anaheim on 17 July 1955. Its original setting has since developed into a resort with Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, the two parks named in the autumn events calendar.
The seasonal programme therefore overlays a historic park with a separate second park and distinct event areas. Plaza de la Familia links its location in Disney California Adventure with the music and themes of Coco, while Halloween Time extends across both parks.
For travellers from Western Europe, the dates matter because the two programmes end on different days. Halloween Time finishes on 31 October 2026, while Plaza de la Familia remains listed until 2 November 2026.
